Terms of Service

Last updated: May 25, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using SOSA DevOps, or by using the sovereignsystems.cc website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install the application or use the website.

2. Definitions

Software โ€” the SOSA DevOps desktop application, including all binaries, default personas, model-catalog metadata, branded export templates, and documentation. Profile โ€” a local user profile inside the Software. Session โ€” a chat session inside a Profile. Vault โ€” collectively, vault/audit-chain.jsonl (Vault A) and vault/interaction-log.jsonl (Vault B). AI Output โ€” any text, suggestion, completion, plan, or other artifact produced by an AI model through the Software. Model โ€” an LLM or embedding model you install through Ollama. You โ€” the natural person installing and using the Software.

3. Account

A Sovereign Systems account is required only to access the website dashboard and download features. Provide accurate information. Maintain the security of your credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. License Grant

SOSA DevOps v1.0 is free. Sovereign Systems grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on machines you own or control. Multiple profiles on one machine are supported. No device limit is tied to a subscription in v1.0. Future paid tiers may be introduced; the free tier will continue to function for existing installs when that happens. No reverse engineering. You may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Software except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law. No redistribution of bundled assets. You may not extract, repackage, or redistribute the Software's binaries, branded export templates, default persona configurations, or model-catalog metadata.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Software: โ€” to generate content that is illegal under the laws of Thailand, your country of residence, or any country where you operate the Software โ€” to generate content that violates the acceptable-use policy of the Model you have installed โ€” to operate automated, scripted, or non-interactive workloads that abuse a local Model or, when external providers are wired in v1.1+, the rate limits or terms of an external provider โ€” to circumvent any technical control in the Software (e.g. the type-to-confirm gates on destructive actions, or the audit-then-IO ordering on Vault writes)

6. Intellectual Property

Sovereign Systems owns: the Software, the SOSA DevOps name and brand, the audit-chain specification, the interaction-log schema, export template designs, and curated model-catalog metadata. You own: your prompts, AI Output (subject to the Model's license โ€” see below), exported files, documents you index into RAG corpora, and all content in your Profile, Sessions, and Vaults. Sovereign Systems claims no license to your content. We never receive your content โ€” there is no upload, no sync, no "we may use your content to improve our service" clause.

7. AI Disclaimer

AI Output is not curated, reviewed, validated, certified, or warranted by Sovereign Systems. AI Output may be wrong, biased, hallucinated, out of date, or unsafe. The Software is not authorised, validated, or warranted for: โ€” medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical decision support โ€” legal advice or contract drafting for execution โ€” financial trade decisions or investment advice โ€” safety-critical system control โ€” biometric identification or surveillance โ€” regulated content moderation โ€” decisions affecting an individual's access to essential services, education, employment, or credit You are the operator. Responsibility for evaluating and acting on AI Output sits with you.

8. Local Models โ€” You Bring Your Own

The Software does not bundle, host, or distribute LLM weights. To use AI features, you install Ollama separately (ollama.com) and pull the models you want. Each model has its own license. Common examples: โ€” Llama 3.x (Meta) โ€” Llama Community License โ€” Qwen 2.5 (Alibaba) โ€” Qwen Research License or Tongyi Qianwen License (varies by size) โ€” Mistral (Mistral AI) โ€” Apache 2.0 or Mistral Research License โ€” Phi 3/4 (Microsoft) โ€” MIT License โ€” Gemma (Google) โ€” Gemma License โ€” DeepSeek-R1 (DeepSeek) โ€” MIT License You are responsible for license compliance with the model you install. Some licenses restrict commercial use or impose attribution requirements. We provide model-card metadata in the in-application catalog so you can read the license before pulling.

9. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available." Sovereign Systems disclaims all warranties โ€” express, implied, or statutory โ€” including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Limitation of liability: Sovereign Systems' aggregate liability is capped at zero (US$0) for v1.0, which is provided free of charge. For any future paid version, liability is capped at the amounts you paid Sovereign Systems in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event will Sovereign Systems be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Software at any time. Uninstall the application and delete the application data directory for a clean removal. No termination fee, no data-export window to negotiate. Sovereign Systems may discontinue support of any version with 90 days notice via the application update channel and public release notes. Discontinued versions will continue to function on your machine. Sovereign Systems may terminate this license if you materially breach the Acceptable Use section.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Thailand. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law guarantees the right to sue in local courts, that right prevails to the extent it is non-waivable.

12. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via in-application banner. Minor changes are documented in the project changelog. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
